So another week for the books!! (I didn't write in my journal a single time this week so I really can't remember anything.... I will catch up on it though)
We celebrated the fourth of July with a thai night!! And I made papaya salad and it turned out super good!! We made a bunch of curries that I had brought back and we were with one of my favourite families in the area so it was super fun.
Funnies:
We got stood up by someone we met on facebook because they were celebrating an early birthday lol...whatever that means. Sister greeenwood and I had a good laugh about that. People honestly can come up with the best excuses.
So this happened last week but I forgot to write about it! So we were over at this members house and she was telling us her conversion story, like it really was a beautiful and awesome story. But I was petting her dog that was on my lap and then all of the sudden it started going berserk. Like CRAZY. Trying to jump all over me and nip at me everytime I would try to touch it. This lady was not noticing AT ALL. Because she was so into her story LOL. So sister greenwood looks back at me struggling and then is trying so hard not to laugh. Like we are both fying of laughter on the inside because this woman had no clue what was going on.
An abandoned car from our hike today!

The work:
We have had some amazing lessons this week. So many of our friends are progressing and really have a strong desire to follow Jesus Christ and learn more about him.
Spiritual thought:
We were talking with a member the other day about how kind of at different stages of life you need to redefine who you are, and kind of re-center on the fact that you are a child of God. And the implications of that. The divine potential that gives us. For example, when I get home off of a mission I kind of have to get into a different groove, or someone who has had kids for 20 years and is now an empty nester. These stages can be hard but one thing always stays constant. The fact that our Heavenly father is with us every step of the way and that we are his child! We never have to do this alone, and we can get through any stage of life, and any hardship THROUGH Him!
Love you all!
